Division: Engineering & Management Services
L-3 Services Inc. is seeking a Software Manager with experience in support of Information Warfare (IW) Exploitation Systems, Threat Warning, and Detection Systems to include: technology analysis and assessment, design definition, development of systems specification, systems analysis, system architecture, systems/equipment integration, test & evaluation criteria and logistics support of C4ISR requirements.
The candidate must possess technical experience in support of the following systems: Joint Threat Warning System (JTWS), Privateer Mark V Threat Warning System, Ship Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE) Incr E/F, Classic Troll Sub System, Battle Group Passive Horizon Extension (BGPHES), PREVENT, Multi-platform Collection Capabilities (MPCC), Cryptologic Carry On Program (CCOP), New construction platform (LPD-17, CVN-76, etc.) SSES, Ground SIGINT Kit (GSK), Signals Research and Targeting Development (SRTD), BUSHOG, Mobile Electronic Warfare Support System (MEWSS), DESPERADO, Ship–s Signal Exploitation Space (SSES) Systems.
The Software Manager positions requires that the qualified candidate be proficient in C, C++, Java, COBRA, Unix, and Windows development as well as in the use of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) in developing software applications. The qualified candidate must have experience supervising large software programs.
The Software Manager positions requires 10 years of experience overall with 5 years of technical experience pertaining to the above mentioned description.
A Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited school in Electrical, Software, Systems or Industrial Engineering; Physics or Computer Science is required; Masters or PhD preferred. The candidate must also be working toward the following certifications within one and a half years of assuming duties: Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), and Certified Software Engineering Professional (CSEP).
