Summary :
The Analyst/Senior Analyst provides direction and support with regard to processes in procurement and accounts payable areas, while also assisting other business areas as needed. This role will leverage a comprehensive understanding of SAP R/3 (6.0) with focus on requisitioning, purchase order creation, scheduling agreement creation and release, and invoicing and payment management. Major responsibilities of this position will include preparation of specifications, design and execution of testing scenarios, programming/configuration, and management of small projects
This position understands the business strategy of the procurement and accounts payable areas and works with the team to define business requirements and implement solutions while communicating and coordinating with other team members, customers and management across the IS organization and business to ensure appropriate integration of processes and modules.
Responsibilities :
40% Provide business analysis and programming expertise within an assigned business unit/area; design, develop, refine, test, and debug batch and real-time business applications for use in a multi-platform environment including interface components, graphical screens, reports, and high-level logic for system control. Participate in support of production system (24X7). Additional responsibilities include:
- Conduct and participate in structured walkthroughs and technical reviews.
- Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other I.S. departments.
- Stay abreast of changing technologies.
40% Prepare detailed technical specifications and test cases for use in a multi-platform environment from which applications will be written and tested; collaborate with internal customers, IT colleagues and other stakeholders to collect and analyze business requirements. Follow standards and established methodologies while ensuring consistent, well integrated, well tested applications.
10% Participate in project management activities and the planning process; monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts and provide work effort estimates.

Qualifications :
Required Experience:
Analyst - Successful candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years applications development experience and a BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration with computer application emphasis (or equivalent work experience). Experience in analysis/evaluation, development, implementation, and maintenance of SAP technologies.
Senior Analyst will possess a minimum of 6 years applications development experience in addition to above requirements.
Technology Consultant will possess a minimum of 10 years applications development experience in addition to above requirements.
Skills: Requirements definition working directly with Business Users, team player, excellent communication skills, strong understanding of the Purchase to Pay process, ability to develop specifications and documentation, and lead development resources to deliver results on time and on budget.
Technical Skills:
SAP 4.6 or 6.0, User Exits, Function Modules, Working knowledge of Windows, MS Office Suite
Desired Experience(s) are a Plus:
ALE/EDI IDocs and related concepts, HP Quality Center, Ariba Spend Visibility; Adobe forms, SAP Portal.
Ability to speak Spanish is preferred.
